Anthropic, known for developing the artificial intelligence (AI) assistant Claude, is preparing to secure $10 billion in new funding, which would value the company at $350 billion.
The new funding round is expected to be led by Singapore’s GIC and Coatue Management.
While negotiations are still in progress, sources suggested the deal could be finalized within weeks, though the total amount may change before closing.

If confirmed, the new valuation would almost double Anthropic’s worth from $183 billion, reached in September 2025.
That earlier figure followed a $13 billion Series F round involving ICONIQ Capital, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Founded in 2021 by Dario Amodei and his sister Daniela, both formerly at Google, Anthropic has become one of the leading players in the AI field. Its chatbot Claude has drawn particular attention from businesses that use it for programming and productivity tasks.
According to the same report, Nvidia and Microsoft are planning to invest up to $15 billion in the company. Anthropic expects to reach profitability by 2028, ahead of OpenAI’s projected timeline.
Anthropic is also said to be considering an initial public offering (IPO) later in 2026.
